Chapter 69 Corruption(2)
Without thinking about it for long, Chu Wuyao reached into her pocket and took out the yellow parchment, the map that had led her to this place.
The moment the map was taken out, it seemed to resonate with the white orb that was in her other palm.
Instinctively, Chu Wuyao brought her two hands closer and placed the white orb on top of the yellow parchment.
Surprisingly, when the parchment touched the white orb, it turned into a white mist and then drilled into the white orb.
The orb seemed to have received some instruction and the next second, it flew out of Chu Wuyao's hand and moved towards the small hill.
Only when it reached the hill's top did it stop moving but then, something even more surprising happened.
Under the eyes of three people and one cat, the white orb suddenly exploded and dense, white mist floated out of it, turning the whole hill into a forbidden area.
Fortunately, this didn't last for long, as the mist soon gathered together and turned into the shape of a rectangle.
The mist continuously wriggled together and finally, the rectangle showed its true appearance, becoming a white door that was densely packed with runes.
Thankfully, Chu Wuyao had experienced many strange things in this world so far, and she wouldn't be too shocked by such change.
Just like her, Yuan Zhuo also managed to remain calm.
He had been in the Original Desire Sect for some time and had witnessed even more strange things than Chu Wuyao.
Only the young man, the actual owner of the orb, was actually shocked by what his eyes were seeing.
It took quite some time for him to recover and when he did, he found that a withered piece of paper had unknowingly appeared in front of him.
"Are you willing to sign this contract?", a cold female voice rang in his ears, shaking him to the core.
He wanted to shake his head but feeling the murderous intention around him, he could only nod his head obediently.
The moment he did, the withered piece of paper disappeared and the young man felt that some kind of change had taken place in him.
He was a little panicked by this feeling, knowing that there must be something wrong with him.
"That's good.", Chu Wuyao nodded her head in satisfaction when she saw that the young man had agreed to the Master-Servant Contract she had previously made.
There were many such contracts on her, having made them in her free time for situations like this.
Turning her head, her eyes landed on the young man who looked a little panicked and she opened her mouth.
"Go in.", she ordered coldly and pointed at the white door that was floating a few centimeters above the small hill.
The young man originally wanted to argue, but he found that his body acted on its own, following this woman's commands.
Before he realized what had happened, he had already walked to the top of the hill and stopped in front of the door, before he stretched out his hands and pushed it open.
The next second, he instinctively stepped in, his figure disappearing.
On the side, when Yuan Zhuo saw this scene, he wasn't surprised and only guessed that Chu Wuyao had cast an illusion on the young man, turning him into a cannon fodder.
With a smile on his face, he didn't rush into the open door, but calmly waited, staring at Chu Wuyao.
Ignoring his eyes, Chu Wuyao focused on her connection with the young man, trying to find if he was still alive and making sure that entering the white door was actually safe.
A few seconds passed and sensing that the connection was still there, she no longer hesitated and jumped up, then entered the white door.
Seeing her like actions, Yuan Zhuo also followed behind her and stepped inside too.
Soon, only a white door remained in this place, peacefully floating a few centimeters above the small hill.

While Chu Wuyao and her "companions" entered the door, they didn't know that a few people had actually sensed that they had opened the inheritance place.
In a huge dark cave, a few candles were hanging on the walls, cutting through the darkness and revealing a bunch of people that were sitting silently, facing each other.
These people were all wearing long black robes, with a large hood that somewhat hid their faces.
Suddenly, one of these people stood up and raised their head, looking at the horizon.
This action revealed part of their face that was covered in wrinkles, evidence of their old age.
Ignoring this, the man's lips parted and he spoke up, his hoarse voice resounding throughout the dark cave.
"The time has finally come."
"It's time for our Lord to descend on this cruel world and bring fear and salvation with him."
"May this world become corrupted!"
His voice was filled with fanaticism and his body trembled as he spoke.
"May this world become corrupted!"
Hearing the man's words, the people around him raised their hands piously and they hurriedly repeated his words.
"Let's start the sacrifice and allow our Lord to come and purge this filthy world!"
The old man continued and with a thought of his mind, hundreds of corpses flew out of their space ring.
These corpses consisted of both monsters and humans, but they all had one thing in common: their strength was extraordinary.
Even though they were dead, the corpses still exuded a powerful aura that suppressed the area around them.
The moment these corpses landed on the ground, a black formation suddenly shone brightly on the floor.
The next second, the corpses turned into ashes and flew towards the black formation, dying it with a red hue.
Seeing this, the people around the old man followed his instructions and took out some corpses too, then threw them to the ground.
Just like before, the corpses turned into ashes, while the red hue on the black formation became more and more obvious.
Still, their movements didn't stop and they continued taking out corpses.
Looking at this sight, a smile appeared on the old man's face and he couldn't help but mutter in a low voice that only he could hear.
"May this world become corrupted."
What do you think?
